Dubai

My friend has returned from Dubai. Several times he passed by a building which is under construction. It will be the highest building in the world in the near future. My friend says that there are a lot of builders working day and night. He was surprised with scales of this construction and its speed.

Dubai makes very strong impression. My friend has brought a heap of photos and he is just amazed, though, he visited this country for several times. He says that the weather is the best now – but in the summer there will be very hot.

Michael has brought to my daughter a souvenir and now she asks me – to go there for Christmas or in the spring to see this country by ourselves!

For some time past it seems to me that I am taken ill. Only big cake can help me - huge and only for me!

May be a big heap of different sweets would be also good. This is my wish before Christmas.

Interestingly what kind of breed is this? It resembles very much a Caucasian Ovtcharka but darker… And how big they grow?

Norway Reduces its Armed Forces

Within the nearest 25 years Norway almost completely will refuse armed forces.

During reduction Norway will lose the majority of its military bases, completely liquidates heavy artillery, tanks and rocket boats. Jet fighters and patrol planes "Orion" will be used for needs of coastal guards.

It is planned to keep in full divisions of a coastal guards and parts of frontier guards protecting the Norway-Russian border. As a consequence of reforms Norway practically liquidates its armed forces.

Now the Norwegian armed forces consist of 30 thousand persons. Is not yet informed what this number will be after the end of reforms.

About 5 a.m. local time on October, 22nd in a barracks of USA naval base in Bahrain there was a firing. As a result two sailors were lost and critically ill one has been hospitalized.

Investigation of the incident is conducted. Its reasons and other details are not informed. The naval base in Bahrain is a headquarters of the Fifth fleet in which zone of the responsibility are Persian gulf, Red sea, Arabian sea and east coast of Africa up to Kenya. The territory is rather big, and probably there are a lot of enemies on it… but whom gallant seamen tried to hit in the barracks???

Meeting Partner.

Today I have awakened at 4 in the mornings. One of our partners has arrived. I went to the airport to meet him. As if he is a child. He is very whimsical and never smiles. I think his life is not happy. It’s difficult to live with such yellow and boring person.

What a brute of a day!

It’s unbelievable – I was taken ill with cold. And this happened almost in summer – first days of autumn. But there are also and advantages of this – now I have some time to post on my blog.

My daughter helped me to do today this page! And she also asked me to solve a riddle - what it is necessary to buy to get the light in the house - a luster or a switch? It has appeared that the BULB is necessary! Without it and the luster isn’t alight! Here are such riddles.

My daughter asked me “Let’s go to the sea!”

“But now it’s raining a lot and the sea is cold.”

She answered “But we will boil a big pan of water and will pour it out to the sea – and it will warm up.”

Birthday

Yesterday was my lovely daughter’s birthday! We invited her friends from the kindergarten and they had a lot of fun together.

Then, before her sleep I asked her if she liked her birthday? She answered that she even doesn’t believe that it was! It was like a dream and very beautiful dream!

My Sister's Wedding

I’m sitting here now and can’t decide which of these two hotels is better Thalassa Hotel Paphos or Annabelle Hotel Paphos. My sister will marry next summer and she wants to spend this celebrations in Cyprus. So she asked me to choose any good Cyprus hotel for her wedding. Both of these hotels are luxurious and their pictures are great, and locations are excellent! How to choose? Probably I’ll call them and will choose that one which provides better conditions for weddings. Intuitively I like Annabelle hotel more than Thalassa, may be because of its name…
